Our courses have been carefully designed around the needs of neurodiverse learners. It is important that our A Level learners communicate with the tutor, however, this can be done over the chat as well as out loud. We keep our A Level groups very small so that the environment remains calm and accessible.
This course allows for a lot of creative freedom. We take time to get to know our learners - their hobbies, interests, strengths and weaknesses - and then support them each in creating a portfolio that is completely original to their peers and reflects them as an individual. As well as subject content, they have complete freedom of choice over how their project develops, and the media/materials they wish to use.
Our current A Level class takes place Wednesday 3.30-5.00pm
We are also able to teach the A Level Art course on a 1:1 basis. Please contact us for details.

FAQs
-
There is no minimum or maximum age! However, if you wish for a child under the age of 16 to start the A Level course, please do get in touch to discuss this first.
-
It is important that the learners attend the online lessons live due to examination regulations and the need for us to confirm that the student's work is their own. However, they do not have to speak out loud and will never be put on the spot.
-
Payment for this course is monthly, so the cost is spread evenly at £55/month. You can also opt to pay in full.
-
Technical skills can be taught. What's much more important is motivation, creative thinking skills and a genuine interest in the subject.
-
In order to authenticate a students’ work before it is submitted to the exam board, your child’s tutor needs to have seen them working. So having cameras on for the majority of live sessions is important.

It is not a requirement to have taken an Art & Design GCSE first, but it is highly recommended - the A Level course is a significant step up from GCSE and this course equips learners with a solid foundation from which to start both in terms of technical skills and an understanding of the assessment objective and course structure. Please contact us to discuss :)
